Today, on March 22, 2024, A delegation from the Network of Locally Elected Women of Africa – Togo Branch (REFELA-Togo), through the town hall of Agoé-Nyivé, expressed its solidarity with the victims of the Agoé-Nyivé Assiyéyé market by offering a financial contribution of 150,000 francs, aimed at supporting and strengthening their activities.
The president of the network, Ms. KOUBONOU Touni, representing Togolese elected officials, expressed her gratitude to the Head of State for his assistance to the disaster victims, as well as to local elected officials for their efforts, while showing unwavering support for the victims of this disaster.
Ms. AGUZE Akossiwa, Market Chairperson, expressed her appreciation on behalf of the resellers and promised to use the funds responsibly. Mayor ADANBOUNOU Akoété warmly thanked the delegation and the elected members of REFELA for their obvious gesture of solidarity.
